090909 the most awaited date here in Dubai. This is the scheduled launch of the Metro Train Station. Friends' ringtones
1) Maybe by Jay Sean
I met a friend recently and he's the first guy I met here in Dubai... His name is Farrukh. He likes this singer, he told me he is half pakistani but when I checked he is a sikh i.e. indian. :) His style is like craig david. I so like and very familiar with this song before and didn't know the artist. I downloaded the song and saved it as his ringtone.
2) Use Somebody by Kings of Leon
I just really love this song, this is my new fave artist and the song just suits to Yara. The start of the song is perfect for a ringtone also since he is frequently calling me every morning. Hence, the call serves as my alarm...Yara, the most kind-hearted, generous, selfless guy but I am tougher than him (to some extent only), he's more sensitive than me!
3) Collide by Howie Day
Another fave song of mine. I keep on changing Atif's ringtone depending on what I love to hear. He is my ill-tempered, sporadic friend, we always have healthy dissent in most of the things albeit, a very determined, bold, confident guy which I admire. I really do not know his favorite song, so whatever I find suitable then I save under his name.
So I hope they will be calling soon... :)

weekend - 27 aug
We have been wanting to check the new cinema in Dubai Mall which is called the Reel Cinema.
We prefer to stay late at night on thurs since we have all day to rest on Friday. I am still off every Saturday however my sister Ladja isn't.
There is no good movie showing this week except the tagalog film to be shown in Al Ghurair entitled And I Love You So. I want my friend Yara to watch it but I'm afraid there is no subtitle on it. I should try to check so that he too could appreciate pinoy movies. :) let me check so that we could decide after iftar.

Another day
Typically, the day starts at 5:30am
Snooze my alarm trying to get a minute more to sleep
Cook for our breakfast+lunch - my sister is taking her breakfast while I pack mine for tiffin.
My phone will have a missed call at 6:15 from my morning carpool.
6:25am I am ready to depart for work
After 30mins of roaming around the busy street of Dubai, I will reach my office.
Then, I will be having my hot choco or coffee then bread or at times I would eat half of my packed lunch.
Going through my emails and everything... start to play music I saved in my laptop or else listen on online radio stations (keeps me updated what is happening here and around the globe). I also open the 'gulfnews' website to read on current news...and then people will start coming in starting their day while I just completed mine.
As ramadan is fast approaching, business is quite slow and most of my colleagues are off on their annual leave enjoying the heat of the sun/beach/travel to Thailand/Malaysia/India/UK...How I wish I could do it someday..my focus now is to go home first before venturing to another country.
Then later I will go home, bus, cook, bed+laptop... goodness lord I need someone to intercede my boring routine.
I have been thinking lately to indulge in running or just brisk walking. I need to exercise or else I will rot in my bed with my belly bulging and sluggish mind. I am so excited that I will be doing this, I need a buddy though but then it seemed like I shall be doing it alone. Anyhow, there is a park near to my place so I will start walking there though it really a bit far and walk around the park then go home. Maybe an hour or two is enough, I will surely sweat a lot considering the humidity these days and for sure I will have a good night sleep after. This is will be my 'ramadan affair'. :)))
